Technological advice

After attending the Max-Born Gymnasium in Germering, Stefan Flamm completed an apprenticeship as a chemical-technical assistant at the Dr. Elhardt in Munich.
He then worked at Zyma-Blaes Arzneimittelfabrik GmbH for 2 years as a raw materials specialist in analytics.

From 1980 to 1982 he completed further training as a chemical technician and then entered the service of PROTINA PHARMAZEUTIC GMBH in Ismaning b. Munich.
In 1986 he took over the management of the newly created "Galenic Development" department, which he headed until he left in November 2022.

He was responsible for the new and re-development of all PROTINA products, both in the field of medicines and food supplements.
He has received numerous awards for successfully completed projects.

A particular focus of his work was the development of solid oral dosage forms such as

  • Granules and powders for dissolving

  • Granules for direct consumption without water (direct sticks)

  • Flavorings

  • Lozenges

  • Effervescent tablets

  • Film-coated tablets

  • Two-layer - depot tablets

  • Capsules

Due to the often complex composition, such as minerals, vitamins, amino acids, antioxidants, etc., massive technological problems can arise in the development of dietary supplements with regard to:

  • Compatibility of ingredients

  • Dosage form

  • Segregation

  • Fillability

  • Stability

  • Suitability of the primary packaging

Due to his decades of experience, Mr. Flamm can give you well-founded advice on all these issues.
